Vinaigrette

Basic vinaigrette sauce (a.k.a. French Dressing) with variations.

Ingredients

2 FAIRTRADE Lemons
100 ml Equal Exchange / Zaytoun Fair Trade Palestinian olive oil
5 ml salt
a good pinch french mustard
4 cloves garlic
50 ml white wine vinegar
50 ml water

Lemons
Herbs and Spices
Brazil Nut Oil
Olive Oil

Method

Preparation

Skin the garlic and crush.
Juice the lemons and discard the pith and peel.
Put all ingredients in a food mixer and blend at high speed until thoroughly combined.
Keep in a sealed jar.

To serve

Shake well before using.

Variations

Balsamic Vinaigrette: Use balsamic vinegar.
French Dressing: Use the standard vinaigrette recipe.
Sunday Vinaigrette: Use FAIRTRADE Brazil Nut Oil.
Linseed Vinaigrette: Use Flax Oil.
