Tangy Bananas

A simple sweet and sour side dish to go with highly spiced food, uses FAIRTRADE Bananas, up to "spotty" ripeness.
The Windward Islands plus the Leeward Islands make up the Netherlands Antilles. The Windward Islands are a key source of FAIRTRADE Bananas.

Ingredients

4 FAIRTRADE Bananas
1 FAIRTRADE Lemon
FAIRTRADE Sources
Bananas
Lemons

Method

Peel the bananas and slice them into 3mm rounds into a shallow bowl.
Juice the lemon.
Pour the lemon juice over the bananas and turn so that they are all juiced.
Refridgerate.

To serve

Serve chilled.

Variation

Try a fresh FAIRTRADE lime for variety.
