Cole Slaw

This is a big dish for a party buffet, it makes at least ten portions. So use half of the ingredients if you wish.
This is a celebration dish from Brazil.

Ingredients

1 small cabbage
300ml mayonnaise
200ml natural yoghurt
60ml cider vinegar
1 small onion chopped finely
15ml Fair trade curry powder.
2.5 ml FAIRTRADE turmeric.
100gm FAIRTRADE chopped Brazil nuts
500gm Frozen peas
200gm FAIRTRADE raisins
FAIRTRADE Sources
Nuts
Raisins
Spices

Method

Mix the mayonnaise, yoghurt, vinegar, onion, curry powder, turmeric and chopped nuts together in a mixing bowl.
Add the cabbage, thawed peas and raisins and turn until all of the cabbage is covered in dressing.
Adjust the taste with salt and pepper seasoning.
Chill in the refridgerator before use.

To serve

Serve chilled.

Variation

Add a couple of de-cored chopped apples for a sweeter touch.
For a little colour, add a grated carrot.
